This four-hour workshop will include pre-work and hands-on simulation training.  The simulation training will include ultrasound assessment, needling techniques with use of ultrasound, and arterial / venous peripheral device insertion.  Attendees will rotate through hands-on stations to gain awareness and procedural confidence.  Stations will include leading the needle, Rapid Peripheral Vein Assessment (RaPEVA), Midline insertion, extended-dwell peripheral IV (EDPIV) insertion and arterial catheter insertion.  Continental Breakfast and 4 CE Hours will be awarded to full event attendees.  Please feel free to forward, print and circulate the attached flyer.
