The Role of Ultrasound Gel and Probe Protection in Ultrasound Guided Vascular Access: the Good, the Bad and the Ugly

GOVAN is EXTREMELY EXCITED to welcome Nancy Moureau PhD, RN, CRNI, CPUI, VA-BC to Columbus at our first "Post-Pandemic" Dinner / Meeting Event.   With Central Line / PICC Insertions, we have all adopted the Central Line Insertion Bundle into our practice.  With our expertise, we also place an astronomical amount of Ultrasound Guided PIVs, but practice / insertion guidelines seem to be all over the board.   Nancy's presentation should shed some light on issues surrounding Ultrasound Gel and Probe Protection with Vascular Access insertion and promote discussion on standardizing practice when strict sterile technique is not deemed necessary.  With this event, we are offering SEVERAL OPTIONS to attend with associated fee schedule (see below)
